Be As Bold As A Tiger

Learning any art form in high level takes a lifetime.         Master Farshad

When I was a child, I felt the need of becoming stronger and fitter. I needed to engage in some kind of physical activity which was different and wasn't popular with everyone or commercialised. To begin with I attended a few sessions of Kyokushin Kai karate and continued it for 5 years. I hurt my left knee when I was 15, so I started looking for similar movements and similar principles which would not require strong body work as much as Kyokushin. This was why I joined Tae Kwan Do clubs and practiced this fantastic martial art for over 4 years until I achieved Dan 3 black belt. I remember once, I faced a strong demonstration of Kun fu To’A and that just blew me away. That was in 1989, since then I started practicing this unique and extraordinary martial art which helped me develop my body and mind.

Master Farshad has been training in the Martial Arts since 1980

I am not just interested in techniques, I am interested in what lies behind the techniques. So when we understand the core nature of the technique, we can apply that knowledge to any situation.

Technique is in fact the last thing which happens when  demonstrating. Many other  physical and psychological factors take place before technique can be acquired.

We fear all sorts of things. Let's say the worse case happened in life, “death” and if one is totally in peace: "I don't fear death". So logically I don't fear anything else either. So I am removing fear from my training.

To be really fearless in a battle we don't need to be armed to the teeth and muscles. It's actually quite the opposite. One needs to be united with the universe.

Some People train their body, some people train their mind, in Kung Fu To'A we train both.

Kung Fu To'A might be like other martial arts, but when you develop yours, (Body and mind) you will realise how unique and Extraordinary is the method of the techniques. Techniques in Kung Fu To'A are equally adapted and are effective against a single attacker or several when you demonstrate  them.

There is a different way of  Kung Fu To'A logic and struggle. While we are protecting ourselves, we are not hurting the opponents. When somebody attacks me, to hurt or even kill me, I have to protect myself, I also need to protect the opponent (We can see these in techniques), because in the philosophy of  Kung Fu To'A there is one single entity, "one huge entity" which forms the Universe and we are part of it, for instance the one who attacks me, is part of me, only this part of me which is on the wrong track, in that case, rather than destroying Him, I have to show Him the right direction, because if I destroy Him, a part of me would be destroyed.

Master Homajun Khoshgoui : Kung Fu Toa is a Persian martial art distinguished by powerfully accentuated and aesthetic movements. Seeming almost like a dance the techniques allow countless combinations. It is a very beautiful and challenging martial art representing a great challenge for every disciple of martial arts with its complex forms ("axis" and "lines"). Speed and flexibility are being trained as well as the ability to focus your power. Implementing the strength from the entire body the kicks and hitting combinations receive their characteristic wavelike sequences which are intensified by numerous rotations. In the classes the different attack- and defence techniques are trained always considering their application. The single techniques are built up on each other and are a combination of action and reaction. Fluent transitions and the melting of the single techniques to one complet7ij  e movement make it possible to reach an astonishing speed and optimal affectivity by using relatively little force. Kung Fu Toa comes from Iran, where the style was founded by grand master Ebrahim Mirzaii in the beginning of the 70´s. Initially practised in the military the style rapidly became known and found many followers outside of the military. Kung Fu Toa is based on elements of traditional Chinese Kung Fu. Like all Asiatic martial arts also Kung fu Toa is aiming beyond the physical training for harmony between body and mind. Kung Fu Toa is taught all over the world.
